Operator for AM-Center in Oxelösund – The Future of Manufacturing!
Do you want to help shape the future of industry? AM-Center in Oxelösund is one of SSAB's latest investments and produces steel powder for 3D printing – a technology that is changing the world.
We are now looking for an operator who wants to work with advanced production in a smaller team where innovation and safety are in focus. You will be part of the entire process – from raw materials to finished product.
Becoming part of the SSAB family means embarking on a journey. A journey that we believe is crucial for the future of the planet and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our societal development and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges that connect our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and our leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries that emits the most greenhouse gases in the world. This must change. Therefore, we have developed the world's first fossil-free process for steel production and have committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contribute to a green transition of the entire steel industry.
AM-Center in Oxelösund is one of SSAB's latest production facilities that produces steel powder products for 3D printing. Since its inception in 2020, we have installed equipment and built up a smaller production facility where we manufacture high-quality steel powder, and we are now in a phase of scaling up production.
As an operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and executing steps in the manufacturing process of steel powder. This includes being involved in the entire process from handling raw materials to completing the product for delivery.
You will ensure that all equipment is set up and produced correctly and that the process occurs according to established quality, safety, and productivity goals, so that the final product achieves the highest possible quality. The work demands a high level of independence and accuracy. Here you will have a chance to be involved in the work at an early stage with a team that is at the forefront of development and innovation with a focus on safety.
The working hours are shifts.
